The Winston-Salem Estate Planning Council invites you to Forsyth Country Club on Wednesday, October 7th, for a discussion on Charitable Planning with Monica Berry.

Monica Berry, J.D., serves as a Director of Estate and Gift Planning for the American Cancer Society, where she supports donors and professional advisors across the western halves of North Carolina and South Carolina. In her role, Monica cultivates and stewards relationships with planned giving prospects, existing donors, and estate and financial planning professionals to help secure and retain gifts that advance the organization's life-saving mission. She also serves as a resource for planned and charitable giving strategies, as well as the full range of programs and services the American Cancer Society offers to patients, caregivers, and their families.

Monica maintains current knowledge of estate planning techniques, charitable giving vehicles, applicable tax laws, and trends in philanthropy, allowing her to provide practical, well-informed guidance to donors and professional colleagues alike. Before joining the American Cancer Society, she practiced law in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, with a focus on estate planning and estate administration.
